Our Story:

Picture of Our Story:

They say that life doesn't always go according to plan, but sometimes the detours lead us exactly where we're meant to be. For us, this wedding represents more than just a celebration of love, it's a testament to second chances, divine timing, and the power of faith. Both of us have walked difficult paths before, carrying lessons from our past that have shaped who we are today. We've learned that love isn't about perfection; it's about finding someone who sees your scars and chooses to stay, someone who believes that the best chapters of your story are still being written.

Our journey together is nothing short of miraculous. Before we ever met, during the darkest days of the pandemic, Philip was hospitalized with COVID-19 in what became a near-death experience. At that same time, miles away and unaware of his existence, a mutual friend asked Emily to pray for a stranger she had never met and she prayed. Little did they know that God had an even bigger plan, she had been praying for her future husband before they ever met!

Emily was pouring every ounce of her heart into raising her baby boy Campbell. Together, they built a world of their own, a sacred bond forged through bedtime stories, scraped knees, and countless moments of love and laughter surrounded by close family and friends. She never imagined there would be room for anyone else in their peaceful, carefully crafted universe. But then Philip arrived, embracing not only her but Campbell and he approached their little family with patience, respect, and genuine care. Slowly, her son began to carve out a special place for Philip in his heart, and Emily watched in awe as the man she was falling in love with became Campbell's Dad, proof that families aren't just born, they're built with intention, love, and grace.

When our paths finally crossed, we both felt it immediately: this was the answer to those prayers. God brought him back for a purpose, and that purpose was to build a family together. Now, as we stand ready to say "I do" for the second time in our lives, we do so with grateful hearts, knowing that our love story was written by a hand far greater than our own. This isn't just our second chance; it's our greatest blessing.
